We're inviting the neighborhood to come out and learn about all sorts of gardening topics, such as the the Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia plant clinic, at-home composting, growing native plants, and beekeeping.

The Plant Clinic at the Old Town Farmers’ Market is staffed by Extension Master Gardeners, who answer general gardening questions as well as questions about pests, diseases, and plant identification. They also provide free soil test kits on request.

Learn how choosing a few strategic plants can attract a host of birds, butterflies and mammals. Be surprised at the biodiversity you can support by planting native plants and creating a four-season habitat.
Meet with VCE Arlington/Alexandria Extension Master Gardeners to choose the perfect plants for your garden! If you are planning to start or add to a native plant collection, they will help with plant selection, planting advice, and answer all your questions. In addition, there will be artists, food vendors, and bake sales.
